Before we go for the day we want to explain the reason why we left so immediately.
Of course you all know the reason for my (Atsu) leaving was because I had lost internet privileges..
But the reason I took out Julii for the month was because of school related stress. She has 4 big tests coming up in February plus her grades have slowly been dropping during December. She hasn't had much time to study. So I took her privilege of the blog away until her grades are up. Her privilege is still taken away but only for today we had her come back. Until her exams are over with I will allow Julii to come back.
Although, I, Atsu is still here. I won't be able to post as much of course because I still need to focus on school as well. However, I will post once a week. Julii may not be able to come back until March the exam dates have not yet been decided but I want to make sure she can finish all of her homework and study well but still have social activities with her friends as well. I do not want her locked onto the blog all the time.

On February 1st, it was announced that Itano Tomomi would be graduating from AKB48 this year. Itano’s graduation was announced in AKB48’s documentary film, ‘DOCUMENTARY OF AKB48: NO FLOWER WITHOUT RAIN Shoujo Tachi wa Namida no Ato ni Nani wo Miru?‘. During a stage greeting, Itano herself announced,
”I’m Itano Tomomi from Team K. I made a sudden announcement through this interview, but I, Itano Tomomi, will graduate from AKB48. The interview for this documentary was supposed to be about the members of AKB48, their scandals last year, AKB48 in the future, and the graduation of Maeda Atsuko, but my feelings towards graduation became stronger. I decided to announce it like this.”
Itano shared that she had been discussing her graduation with producer Akimoto Yasushi stating, “When I confirmed to Akimoto-sensei that I had expressed my true feelings he told me ‘okay’. It could’ve been cut out during the editing, but I had them use it. Although my time with the fans and members are running out, I would like to enjoy it. Thank you,”
there were fans who cried out, “Don’t quit!” Regarding the timing of the announcement, Itano revealed,
“I actually wanted to wait until our spring concert to announce it, but I expressed my true feelings in the interview.”
She also mentioned that she talked to Maeda Atsuko about it.
“I’m good friends with Atsuko and I have been influenced by her, but I needed to decide on my own path myself. It’s not that I made this decision in a hurry, but I want both of us to do our best.”
Finally, Itano stated, “We haven’t decided on the day yet, but I will announce it once it has been decided. I want to enjoy the time that I have left. I also want to enjoy it as a first generation member.”

I am very sorry for worrying the members, you fans, staff members, my family, and many people for the article about me on a weekly magazine that will be released today.
As the first generation member of AKB48 that was formed back in 2005, I was supposed to be in the position where I always had to act as a role model for the junior members. However, what I have done was such a thoughtless and a lack of self-awareness behavior.
Since my mind is still in blank, I did not know what to do or what I can do, but as I just saw the magazine, I could not sit still, so I decided all by myself to shave my head without even telling the members or my agency.
I do not expect that I would be forgiven by doing this, but what I first thought was that I did not want to quit AKB48.
I was unable to think of leaving AKB48 now where the members I love and spent my youth together, and you warm fans are. I know this is being over‐optimistic, but I want to stay as Minegishi Minami of AKB48 if possible.
It was all my fault about this. I am very sorry.
I will leave everything to Akimoto-sensei’s and the management’s judgement. Though I haven’t been able to sort out my feelings, I just wanted to tell you how I was feeling right now.

As you all know Heavy Rotation has ranked 1st at Request hour for the past 3 years but this year was different! Congratulations Team 4 for your song, Hashire! Penguin, to rank 1st this year!
Shimazaki said with a smile, “I did not expect that we could perform together again. It’s all thank to everybody. I’m so happy.”, while Shimada said shedding tears, “The happiest thing is that team 4 has not been forgotten after the breakup.”
it was also announced that AKB48 would be holding an open-air live concert titled “AKB48 Super Festival” at Nissan Stadium in June. It will be the biggest-scale festival yet for the group as there will be 70,000 audience members attending, and they will be the first female artist to hold a solo live concert at the venue.
Takahashi Minami happily commented, “I think it will lead us to open up a new state. This year, the 48 groups will run at full speed!”

We're back!! With Scandals and Graduations, and Comebacks!
Hey everyone Atsu's back! And we're very sorry for no blog posts but i made the decision to have Julii as well stop posting for a while. But in this blog post Julii and I will be posting together... rather then seperate. Of course we have missed a lot of big things like Yukas graduation but we are only going to post withing what has happened this past week. The first post is made by Atsu.

SDN48 made a comeback for the day with their song Kodoku na Runner that ranked 18th place during request hour!
On the stage, Ohori Megumi, who married a scenario writer, Kanazawa Tatsuya, on New Year’s day, announced her marriage directly to the fans, and revealed that her husband was there to see the performance. Megumi also blew a kiss to her husband after other members urged her to do so.
It was also announced that SDN48’s special stage would be held at the AKB48 theater in Akihabara on March 31st. It would be the “alumni association” that the members promised to their fans when they graduated. Serina commented, “We will try our best to show our growth after one year.”

On December 30th, the annual music awards show, ”The 54th Kagayaku! Japan Record Awards” was held, and announced that AKB48’s “Manatsu no Sounds good!” has received the grand prize “Japan Record Award.” This is the second consecutive year for AKB48 to receive the award since they won the award with “Flying Get” last year. AKB48 is the first female group to accomplish this.
Takahashi Minami shed tears, and said, “I am truly happy. Last year, we were desperate to grab the award, but his year, we felt like we must win it as the second chapter for AKB48 has begun. I am proud that we were able to get this award when there are so many great artists here.” Watanabe Mayu also commented, “As Maeda-san graduated, we, the ones who are left, need to make AKB….”, she then had to stop right there, as she could not hold herself, but cry. She continued tearfully, “I am very happy. While being proud of this, I would like to continue trying our best. Though we felt some pressure, receiving the award will make us gain confidence, and I hope it will bring another good accomplishment.”
Congratulations AKB! Your creating so many records! Keep up the good work!

I've promised you all a dance cover and I was starting out to learn Yoyaku Shita Christmas,, But sadly I've kept losing internet and I had no choice but to stop learning it,, thus I will not be doing the song.. Although I do not want to let you all down and not give you anything so previously I have learned Valentines Kiss from Watarirouka Hashiritai.. I will make a dance cover of that and put it up on Everyday AKB48's youtube channel! I have learned the dance from a friend and the dance is "correctly" done right but I hope you still enjoy it and please be kind! I will try to have it uploaded tomorrow morning or afternoon!
