On February 1st, it was announced that Itano Tomomi would be graduating from AKB48 this year. Itano’s graduation was announced in AKB48’s documentary film, ‘DOCUMENTARY OF AKB48: NO FLOWER WITHOUT RAIN Shoujo Tachi wa Namida no Ato ni Nani wo Miru?‘. During a stage greeting, Itano herself announced,

”I’m Itano Tomomi from Team K. I made a sudden announcement through this interview, but I, Itano Tomomi, will graduate from AKB48. The interview for this documentary was supposed to be about the members of AKB48, their scandals last year, AKB48 in the future, and the graduation of  Maeda Atsuko, but my feelings towards graduation became stronger. I decided to announce it like this.”

 Itano shared that she had been discussing her graduation with producer Akimoto Yasushi stating, “When I confirmed to Akimoto-sensei that I had expressed my true feelings he told me ‘okay’. It could’ve been cut out during the editing, but I had them use it. Although my time with the fans and members are running out, I would like to enjoy it. Thank you,”
there were fans who cried out, “Don’t quit!” Regarding the timing of the announcement, Itano revealed,
“I actually wanted to wait until our spring concert to announce it, but I expressed my true feelings in the interview.”
She also mentioned that she talked to Maeda Atsuko about it.
“I’m good friends with Atsuko and I have been influenced by her, but I needed to decide on my own path myself. It’s not that I made this decision in a hurry, but I want both of us to do our best.”
Finally, Itano stated, “We haven’t decided on the day yet, but I will announce it once it has been decided. I want to enjoy the time that I have left. I also want to enjoy it as a first generation member.”

Yuka and Natsuki to graduate T.T

NATSUKI'S GRADUATION REPORT:
Natsuki will be graduating in order to focus on her studies.
Natsuki joined AKB48 at the age of 15 and has been active in the group for 6 and a half years. However, when she looked at the world with a broader view, she thought about herself and realized that there are still many things that she can challenge herself to. At the same time, she felt that there are many things she has to do properly.

“Right now, I want to go to college, study, and graduate. I want to do my best to be recognized as a human being,” she explained.
Natsuki posted a message to her fans, family, staff, and members onto AKB48’s official blog. She wrote,
“The people I’ve met until now and the time we’ve spent together. Those are my treasures, and I think it will become the bread of my future. Thank you so much for the happy times.”

YUKA'S GRADUATION REPORT:
Right before a report on a weekly magazine, Yuka Stated that she stayed overnight at DA PUMP member ISSA's place.
She wrote on her blog, “I caused trouble by taking blithe action that lead to a misunderstanding by many people, and I have disappointed the fans who have supported me, team members, junior members, staff members, and my family. I thought a lot about what I should do from now on, and in order for me to take the responsibility, though this is quite a sudden announcement, I am withdrawing from AKB48.”

AKB48 TO RELEASE STUDIO RECORDINGS COLLECTION!

AKB48 will be releasing theater performances, CD form, on New Years Day!

This project is called “studio recordings collection” and there will be 20 CDs in total. It will feature the set lists of 20 performances held at AKB48 Theater. There will be re-releases of 12 titles along with releases of 8 unreleased stages. The 2-disc set will contain songs that are not included in the group’s singles and albums as well as karaoke versions of every song.

As a bonus, the first press editions will come with a randomly selected picture of Itano Tomomi, Oshima Yuko, Kasai Tomomi, Kashiwagi Yuki, Kitahara Rie, Kuramochi Asuka, Kojima Haruna, Shinoda Mariko, Takahashi Minami, Minegishi Minami, Miyazawa Sae, or Watanabe Mayu. Also, CD shops will be distributing 1 random original clear file of the above mentioned members.

SKE48's Yagami Kumi will be Graduating..

Because SKE48 Theater is currently under renovation, Kumi expressed her feelings through her Google+ account. She wrote, “SKE48 has gained 5th generation members and I now have many juniors under me. As a 1st generation member, I felt that I had to lead the other members. I also wanted my juniors to have many chances and display their talents. Also, as I thought about my own path, I strongly felt that I should start over again. I was thinking about graduating from the 48 group since about a year ago. It’s a decision that requires courage, but I was able to announce it today.” 

The exact date of Kumi's graduation is undecided at this time. She will officially make her announcement in front of fans at SKE48’s handshake event for “Kiss Datte Hidarikiki” on November 3rd at Port Messe in Aichi. Kumi passed SKE48’s opening audition back in July of 2008. She became a member of Team S and has been in the senbatsu since the group’s first single, “TsuyokiMono yo“. In AKB48’s 4th General Election, Kumi placed 28th, and has also been active as a member of the Undergirls.

But... but... She's Mine and many others SKE Oshi...

Hikawa Ayame of NMB48's Team M will be taking a brake due to injury.

This is Ayame's original message posted:

"Since about 3,4 months ago, my leg injury and physical condition hasn't been good and there were times I was abesent from work and stage shows. I think if I continued to drag on (this situation) like this I would cause troubles, and as a result of talking to the staff, I will take a short break. It's inexcusable and arbitrary, but please give me a bit time. I don't know when I will be able to come back, but I will do my best at treatment and rehabilitation to get well as fast as possible. I am really sorry."

Mitsumune Kaoru and AKB documentary, Miyazawa Sae Send off

First off Mitsumune Kaoru will be withdrawing from AKB48.

In the blog post titled “From Mitsumune, To My Fans”, Kaoru explained,
“My physical condition has not been good for a while and it has become difficult for me to stand in front of everyone in perfect condition. This has definitely caused problems for those around me and also created a huge personal burden, so I have sent in a notice about my withdrawal.”

After Kaoru’s absence from AKB48’s August concert at the Tokyo Dome due to her poor physical condition, she made a temporary comeback. However, she did not participate in an event for the movie version of “Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou” earlier this month due to her poor physical condition. On November 1, she was originally scheduled to join Team K.

Poor Kaoru... I was just beginning to like her too :(

The 3rd AKB48 film [Documentary of AKB48: No Flower Without Rain] has been announced and will start screening in cinemas in Japan from February 1st, 2013.

The film will be directed by Takahashi Eiki, who directed last year's [Documentary of AKB48: Show Must Go On], but not the 2011 film [Documentary of AKB48: To Be Continued].

Similar to the previous film, this documentary will take a look at the biggest events that have occurred to AKB48 throughout 2012, including the graduation of Maeda Atsuko, and the momentous concerts at Tokyo Dome. The film will mostly feature interviews and behind-the-scenes footage, and is even said to touch on the topic of "forbidden love" for idols.

On October 24th, AKB48 held a send-off event for member Miyazawa Sae, who will be transferring to SNH48 in Shanghai, China next month.

In a tearful voice, Oshima Yuko expressed, “I’m very thankful that we met. You are a dear friend. Although we’ll be in different places, let’s chase our dreams and catch them together.” In response, Miyazawa was moved to tears and said, “In Shanghai, I hope to do the things I wasn’t able to do in Japan little by little.”

The send-off party was held during “Team K 6th ‘RESET’ Senshuraku Kouen“, Team K’s final performance before their team shuffle goes into effect on November 1st. Miyazawa revealed, “I’m honestly frightened that the things I thought were natural will disappear one by one. The ones who made Team K such a wonderful team are those who have supported us. On behalf of everybody, thank you very much.”

Some members were already in tears after singing 4 songs back-to-back during the opening. Oshima declared, “I will apologize now. Today, I will not pay attention to anybody, but will enjoy my time with Team K to the fullest. I hope to make the new Team K an even better team. I won’t lose!”

Also, Regarding pictures of the week, I have put them off for now. As you can see I haven't posted as much due to tough school studies so I can not take my time to do pictures of the week. However, I do want to retry when the New teams go into effect. I will then restart again with Team A. I also want to retry posting pictures of the day once again. One of my friends in school gave me the idea of posting one video of the ***48 groups once a month. The way I will set this up is by posting a status on the blogs official facebook page asking which AKB video should be posted. Thank you for your patience in our absence. Tomorrow we are going to make an announcement regarding our blog so please wait up for it.

It was announced at the handshake event today in Iwate prefecture that all four of AKB48's current stages will end this month. The senshuuraku of each of the four stages are:

Team A - [Mokugekisha] - 29th October    
Team K - [RESET] - 24th October
Team B - [Theater no Megami] - 22nd October
Team 4 - [Boku no Taiyou] - 25th October

 From 1st November 2012, the New Teams announced during the Tokyo Dome Team Shuffle will perform [Waiting Stages]. These will consist of a selection of existing AKB48 songs. These Waiting Stages will continue until new stages are ready for the new teams. Only 16 members from each of the three new teams will participate in each performance. With these members rotating from show to show.

YES! Finally something new! This is just a meaning that AKB48 will have new stages very soon (besides Waiting Stages)! I can't wait to see Chiyuu  in Team A ♥_♥ And of course the lovely Takamina and Sayaka! sorry...fangirl moment...

I won't have much time anymore to be online so I will try my best to bring AKB news to your atleast everyday and regarding Picture of the day it will turn into Picture of the week. Im still baffled by the HKT news from yesterday -_- People are claiming that since Sashii joined its her fault for the girls to be fired but with or without her maybe they still would have done all that stuff? I don't think it's nice to blame Sashii whether or not she did tell management I think she did the right thing!!

New admin!

Konichiwa! I am a new admin, Takahashi Neneko, a best friend of Atsu! Eeto what was I going to say.. Oh right! I have only been an AKB48 fan for 3 years now, I use to just like Morning Musume but they just slowly grew off of me so.. AKB48 otaku here! I can't really say I have only one AKB oshi since I like atleast 1 member from each team so I guess i'll tell you!


In Team A I like Ota Aika chan she's a Tsundere right? In Team K I like Minegishi Minami and Yokoyama Yui. The Team B members I like are Kobayashi Kana, Komori Mika, and Sato Sumire, Of Team 4, Iwata Karen wins hands down! In Kenkyuusei I like Sasaki Yukari! Off all of them, My top 3 are Iwata Karen, Oto Aika and Yokoyama Yui!
