SKE48 single and world record!

Hiya~! Julii here!
SKE48 will release a currently untitled new single in January!

This was announced on November 18th during the group’s handshake event for ‘Kiss Datte Hidarikiki‘ at Pacifico Yokohama. As Matsui Rena called out,
“I have an important announcement for everyone!“,
a message saying, “The second chapter of SKE48 will start“, was projected onto the monitor.
The opening of SKE48’s official theater on December 9th was announced once again.
Members were not imformed about this so they were all quite surprised.

Additionally, the music video for SKE48’s new song, “Tsuyogari Tokei“, was revealed during the event. This song is the coupling track to the Type A edition of AKB48’s upcoming single, “Eien Pressure“, which will be released on December 5th. In the music video, Kitahara Rie, who belongs in both AKB48 and SKE48 will make an appearance.

PARTICIPATING MEMBERS FOR TSUYOGARI TOKEI:
TEAM S: Oya Masana, Kizaki Yuria, Suda Akari, Nakanishi Yuuka, Matsui Jurina, Matsui Rena, Yagami Kumi
TEAM KII: Ishida Anna, Ogiso Shiori, Takayanagi Akane, Hata Sawako, Furukawa Airi, Mukaida Manatsu, Yakata Miki
TEAM E: Kimoto Kanon

Also, SKE48 set Guinness World Records with their first album!
On November 19th, an awarding ceremony was held in Tokyo, where the girls of SKE48 received their certificate. In astonishment, Matsui Jurina commented,
“Being active in SKE48, I never thought that we would be certified by Guinness, I want to rejoice together with our fans.”

The album comes with a total of 63 music videos for each member. When the news first broke through to the girls during their album release event, they expressed their surprise and joy with shouts of “Wow” and “Yay“. Matsui Rena said excitedly, “We’re going to be in that Guinness Book!?“, and expressed her wish of displaying the certificate in SKE48’s official theater (opens on December 9th).
Now in their 5th year, Jurina was deeply moved at the growth of the group.
“I never thought that we would have 63 members in the first place,” This year, there are rumors going around that the girls will make their first independent appearance on the ‘Kohaku Uta Gassen‘.
”If we could participate, that alone would make me happy. If every member of SKE48 could participate in the Kohaku, I want to share it like the Guinness World Records.”

Among the 48 groups, AKB48 has been certified as the “pop group with the most amount of members”. Takayanagi Akane proudly stated,
“For ours, the fact that each and every one of our works have been put into one has been certified. The directors made them with affection for the members, so we’re winning with love.”

Congratulations SKE! Keep up the good work and do your best!

Lastly a message from Atsu and I. Next week on November 28th we will start something new!

We will start taking song requests from you all. Choose your favorite song of AKB48, SKE, SDN, NMB, HKT, Nogizaka46 and we will post them on the blog. Since youtube continuously deletes songs from AKB48, we will be kind and find the MP3 to that song and make a small video for you guys. We believe this is good way for people who are just getting into the 48 groups to learn some of their songs. If we do not get comments by the 28th we will just pick our own songs... So start commenting! You can comment on the facebook page, youtube, and the blog!

Matsui Rena cancels handshake event.

Rena chan has canceled her handshake event due to poor physical health condition.

                                                         She wrote on her Google+.

“It is unfortunate, but I needed to cancel my handshake event due to my poor physical condition. To my fans that waited for me at the event venue, I am deeply sorry that in the end, you had to hear the words “cancel” and that I was unable to greet you.”

Rena is scheduled to attend another handshake event in Nagoya on October 9. Rena has written “I am resting today” on her Google+

Gee.. remember Jurinas health problem? This is what happens with popular members.. I hope this doesnt come as bad as Jurinas...

Translation of the graduation ^^

I have the translations from Acchan's graduation!

Takahashi:

“Once the concert at Tokyo Dome was over, we promised each other to come back. I’m honestly not worried about you at all. Do your best with what you want to do. You’re free to guest star in the theater anytime”
Kojima:
“I love you so much. Please shake hands with me, as a fan.”
Minegishi:
"The time I spent with you and the group was the best part of my youth."
Shinoda:
"I know you've had it hard. I feel I couldn't help you much in that regard. I've invited you a lot to eat outside. When I'd see you eat a lot, I felt it was the least I could do to relieve you of some stress. Please do your best from now on"
Kashiwagi:
"I admire you as a performer. Singing with you yesterday, I noticed how much I really like you"
Watanabe:
"It's incredible you can put a smile on that many peoples' faces with your personality. Please keep doing that."
Sashihara:
"I shouldn't have been on stage yesterday when the original Team A members were performing with you, but I was honestly happy when you told me to come up on stage with you."
Matsui Rena:
"You have always been a special, higher presence to me. There's a lot of things I can learn from you as an actress as well"
Matsui Jurina:
"We met for the first time at Oogoe Diamond. The more I'd see of you the more I'd respect you. You stayed over at my place and I did the same in return. Please welcome me to your home again"
Miyazawa:
"When I was going to be transferred to SHN48, you said "Let's do our best together". I was so glad you said that."
Kasai:
"I've tried to imitate your smile many times and wasn't good at it. I adore you as a performer and person. Congratulations."
Oshima:
"Thank you for leading AKB until here. Thank you for being a worthy rival. There's lots of happy, lots of sad memories. But it's all good memories. Let's create new memories together."

Acchan: The first time we got here, seeing the place, we were worried about being able to work towards our dreams. There were times when we all wanted to stop. But because we were all there for each other, because we all worked towards our dreams, we are where we are now. I love this theater, and everyone that performed together with me and watched us. I really can't tell whether it was long or shot, but it was the greatest seven years imaginable.

63 PVs♥

In SKE48's 1st album it will include 63 PVs!! Every member including Kenkyuusei will have their own PV although it will be a minute long :( Well it's worth it!!! I can't wait to see Rena chans, Juri chans, and Mitsuki's PV!!! The PV will be released September 19th along with their 10th single!

The first captain to graduate??!!

SKE48's Team S Captain Hirata Rikako is graduating!!!! She announced this on her 23rd year old birthday show and her reason for leaving is because she wants to chase her dream to be a reporter!
The first captain to ever graduate.. I have a feeling that Matsui Rena might be the next captain

I wake up with joy: SKE48 will open their own theater!

As Matsui Rena chan celebrated her 21st birthday, it was also announced that SKE will open their own theater at Sunshine studio at sunshine Sakae in Aichi!
Yay!!! I should get the money and check it out the first day! Also wasn't that old theater dangerous to the members? Like the stage was too small and caused members to fall off.. thank god it was not a huge concert hall stage. I hope this stage will be more safer and will fit all the members or like the AKB stage.

So in other things today since i've just woken up i decided to go ahead and do the picture of the day since I don't feel like doing anything tonight. Unless of course some big news pops up and I must tell about it.
So today's winner is...

KOJIMA HARUNA! I picked it because she looked cheerful, happy, cute, energetic and ready to get on stage.. or was it after a concert?, I also want her phone xD

Hey Minna!!

I've decided i would make a video on my 4 favorite members all from AKB48, SKE48, and NMB48!
When I have it up I will put up the link!

EDIT:

Got the video up! Enjoy \(^.^)/
